Our story
Tobenna & Kandis Anekwe
Founders
Tobenna is a preacher, math teacher, evangelist and writer. He enjoys spending time watching soccer and football and loves a good debate. Tobenna has written two books, has spoken and preached all over the world, and enjoys learning by continuing his education. Kandis is passionate about cooking, travelling, working with children of all ages, and writing. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family and loves to be there for those that need her. Kandis works in finance in propriety education and enjoys her students.
Tobenna and Kandis Anekwe founded Tokan Evangelistic Outreach in 2016. After a lifelong desire to bring people to know the goodness of Jesus and paired with helping those less fortunate, Tokan was born. Kandis has always had a heart for worldwide missions, Jesus, and loving on people exactly where they are. Tobenna has always loved sharing the good news of the Gospel and teaching people all about God’s love. After going to Nigeria in West Africa together in 2016 and participating in some outreaches, Tobenna and Kandis knew they had found their calling. Tokan looks forward to traveling to other countries, partnering with sponsors who see the vision, and changing lives one at a time by being the hands and feet of Jesus.
